The Humboldt Waste Management Authority’s Eureka Recycling Center permanently closed on August 1, 2022.
With the closure of the Eureka Recycling Center, the HWMA is no longer accepting certain hard to recycle items such as Freon Appliances, E-waste, TV’s, CRV buyback, or Source Separated Recycling.
Single Stream Recycling is available at the Hawthorne Street Transfer Station for a fee.
We understand this closure may cause complications and hardships to our customers, but we encourage customers to utilize the below alternate disposal locations.
Please call ahead for the most up to date information.
