Mixed Stream Recycling refers to the process where recyclables are collected together in one bin without the need for sorting by the consumer. This means items like cardboard, mixed paper, glass, plastic, and certain metals are all combined into a single container, and it is the responsibility of the facility to sort these materials into their respective categories for futher processing.

For those who wish to drop off their recyclables directly, the Hawthorne Street Transfer Station offers mixed stream recycling, providing a convenient option for managing recyclables if curbside collection is not available or preferred.

Please note that there is a fee associated with this service.
